If you're not familiar with Starlicious, it's a game show that tests contestants on their pop culture knowledge, with categories that cover celebrity relationships, reality TV shows, and even a little before-they-were-famous trivia!

It's fun to watch, and even more fun to quiz the stars on the red carpet!

Hey everyone,

When I was asked by Daniel Bowen, friend and creator of  Young & Frugal, to participate in a challenge for his blog relaunch, I wasn't sure if I could do it without going over budget. The challenge required me to plan a date for two including food, alcohol and entertainment for under $40.00, and anyone who lives in Los Angeles knows that's not exactly an easy task. However, I'm proud to report that I was able to do it, and all it required was a little research and planning.

I documented my date through words and photos, and now you can see how I completed the challenge! You can also read other challenges and vote for your favorite entry (hopefully mine)! I think my article is a great read for anyone living in Los Angeles, I tried to include all the secrets I learned about planning an inexpensive night out!

I also recommend checking out all of the content on the Young & Frugal blog for anyone who is trying to pay off debt, student loans, or if you're just trying to be financially vigilant. Daniel has some great advice on topics like haggling, buying your first home, and making the transistion from college to career.

Attention all fans of 3-D,

You should check out the new DreamWorks film, "How To Train Your Dragon." It's a great story, voiced by some amazing people I got to talk to on the red carpet. Also, it's a family friendly movie that adults (and animation fans) can enjoy. The flying scenes are better than what you saw in "Avatar." No joke!

Not only did I spend my weekend attending the screening and red carpet premiere, I also got to ride Toothless, the star of the movie! Luckily, I didn't get thrown off! Here's a photo. It's a little grainy because this was definitely an action shot taken from my phone while I was taming Toothless.

Hey Everyone,

I hope you're all starting your week off right! Here are just a few updates with me and what I'm doing. Last week, I attended a screening for "Hot Tub Time Machine," which was hilarious! I recommend it for those of you who love films like "The Hangover." The wide release is scheduled for March 26th, but look for a review from me next week for more specific commentary! I'll be posting a link soon!

This weekend, I'll be attending a screening and red carpet for the new DreamWorks film, "How To Train Your Dragon." I am very excited, it looks absolutely adorable!
